What is the difference between antique and vintage rings?

Although it’s considered a tricky area in the jewellery world, it’s generally accepted that an antique ring should be over 100 years old. The difficulty is in dating the ring exactly. Vintage rings are considered to be between 20-100 years old.

Will my jewellery be perfect?

Coco Florence rings are between 20-100 years old and each is unique. However, please expect some general wear and buy the ring accepting its vintage or antique condition. Before purchase, you’ll be sent an accurate description, images and a valuation from The Jewellery Valuation Centre

Rather try before you buy? Let’s meet.

Do Coco Florence vintage and antique rings come with documentation?

The majority of my rings are sourced through the services of a qualified gemologist, an expert in vintage and antique jewellery with decades of experience grading diamonds and recognising artistry and craftsmanship. Later, they’re valued by The jewellery Valuation Centre and all valuation documentation accompanies the item, for insurance purposes and your own peace of mind. Read what our happy clients have said.

Can I see the ring in person and try it on?

Although this is an online vintage and antique jewellery store, allowing me to keep costs down and pass on many savings, my preference will always be for you to see these beautiful pieces in person. Arrange a time to meet.

What about returns?

Although unlikely, if you’re not completely happy and want to return your ring, please contact me within three days of receiving it. Unfortunately refunds are not available to customers outside of New Zealand.

To return the ring you will need to pay shipping and insurance costs. When I receive the ring in the original condition I sent it out, the money for the ring will be reimbursed less the return insurance and shipping costs. The ring must be sent back to me in the same condition that it left my premises and should be packed in a way to avoid any damage.

When will my ring be shipped?

As soon as your payment has cleared, your ring will be packed up and sent out within 2-3 days.

How do you send the rings?

Domestic shipping is by Courier Post with insurance, door to door tracking and signature on delivery. International shipping is by DHL with insurance, door to door tracking and signature on delivery. Please remember that some countries add import charges and taxes. These are not covered by Coco Florence, so please check this before you buy.

Do you offer resizing?

Yes, although each antique ring is different, resizing might not be possible if you are wanting to go up or down multiple sizes which can sometimes compromise the setting or diamonds.

If you need the ring resized please contact me for a quote. Resizing takes 5-10 business days. Please get in touch to discuss resizing options and prices before you purchase a Coco Florence ring. Every ring is different and it is essential to consider the setting and stones when looking at going up or down multiple sizes.
